Privacy
Your job search stays yours
Scout has two layers: a public profile you choose to share, and a job search that's always private. The rules between them are enforced in code, not just hidden in the interface.
How it works
- 01
Search privately
Searches, threads, scores and alerts are visible only to you.
- 02
Set your limits
A pay floor and companies to block, including your current employer.
- 03
Publish a profile when you want to be found for your work.
The details
No “open to work” badge
Nothing public ever says you're looking. Not your profile, not company pages, not anywhere.
Blocks that hold
Companies you block never see you in matches. It's checked on the server, every time.
Pay floor stays private
Scout uses it to filter roles and never shows the number to anyone.
Counts, not names
Companies see how many people follow them or are interested, never who, until you choose to talk.
