The role
Clear Street Active is a new retail trading product. Equities, options, futures, crypto, prediction markets. We're building it with a small team, and we need a product designer who knows trading well, not just the UX conventions but what traders actually care about and where existing tools fall short. This role owns the core trading surfaces: research, order entry, position management, portfolio. You'll work directly with engineers and PMs, prototype in the real codebase, and be in the room when product decisions get made. What you'll do * Own product design across the trading surfaces, from flow-level decisions down to the micro-interactions that matter when someone is mid-trade * Prototype in the real codebase using AI tooling. Figma alone isn't enough here. * Work within the design system as it gets built, and flag where it needs to grow * Be in the room when product decisions happen and have real opinions about them What we're looking for * Has shipped retail trading products with real users: equities, options, futures, crypto, some meaningful combination.
