The role
Role Overview The Automated Validation & Gating Pipeline Engineer will focus on building, maintaining, and scaling robust automated validation and gating pipelines for off-board software, maps, and framework components across our autonomous driving platforms. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain continuous automated validation and release gating pipelines for off-board mapping and cloud software components. Define and implement automated test strategies, metrics, and quality gates for component-level and framework-level validation. Triage build or pipeline failures, establish regression test suites, and collaborate with downstream teams (e.g., SIV) to streamline release readiness. Strong analytical skills with the capability to analyze large sets of data. Experience designing triage logic and processes, as well as highlighting and reporting key issues. Required Qualifications Strong software engineering background with proficiency in Python. Experience building test automation to validate Cloud Software Bonus Qualifications Experience with Python or other scripting languages Experience working with AI engines for the efficient development (Cursor, Claude, etc) Program Requirements Currently enrolled in a B.S. or M.S. program in a relevant discipline. Available to commit to a minimum three-month assignment. Able to commit a minimum of 40 hours per week. Able to work on-site at one of our office locations.
