As a Utility Worker at Via, you will play a key role in maintaining the safety, efficiency, and functionality of our facilities, vehicles, and grounds. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly through a wide range of maintenance and support tasks.
On-the-job training is provided, and no prior transit experience is required. This is in person at our Tulare location
What You'll Do:
* Upkeep, sanitize, and detail buses and support vehicles to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for riders and staff.
* Perform general building and grounds upkeep, including custodial tasks and minor repairs, ensuring facilities are clean, orderly, and operating safely.
* Support the operations team with miscellaneous responsibilities as they arise, including moving equipment, organizing workspaces, and assisting with special projects.
* Additional duties will be discussed during the interview and may evolve based on operational needs.

Compensation and Benefits
* Final salary will be determined by the candidate’s experience, knowledge, and skills.
* Salary: Starting at $20.88/hour
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
